What are Positive Psychology online well-being courses?
On these online courses held on zoom, you will learn about Positive Psychology techniques and get the opportunity to practice them to improve your well-being. You will learn practical ways to increase your positive emotions, including ways to develop your strengths, increase resilience and develop self-compassion.
An opportunity to develop greater personal insight and understanding of how to develop my own wellbeing, strengths, and qualities.

Its a programme aimed at helping people to make the best of their lives and to concentrate on whats right with the world and ourselves rather than whats wrong and how we can make a difference.
The people were incredibly friendly and welcoming, it was informative, engaging and had practical tasks that took the techniques and applied them with power. Even though I'm not usually comfortable in group scenarios it was never questioned that everyone felt safe and listened to, which was really wonderful.
Positive Psychology For Life Part 1 - Starts Thursday 21st January 2021 7.30-9.00pm
This 6 week course will show you purposeful positive actions which will increase your happiness now and build resilience for the future. Each week you will learn one aspect of Positive Psychology and will get the opportunity to practice evidenced based activities that will benefit you and your family.
Week 1 - What is Positive Psychology?
Week 2 - How you can boost your positive emotions and feel happier.
Week 3 - How to identify and use your strengths to help yourself and others.
Week 4 - The power of hope in adversity. How to grow hope.
Week 5 - The importance of resilience when times are tough. How to raise resilience.
Week 6 - The steps you can take to ‘be in flow’ and how it will increase your happiness.

Positive Psychology For Life Part 2 -
Each Thursday starting Thursday March 18th at 7.30-9.00pm
This six week online course builds upon the learning from Positive Psychology For Life Part 1,. However, it is not necessary to complete Part 1 before taking this course as the course has been designed for people who have an understanding of Positive Psychology and those who are new to it.
Week 1: Self-compassion
Week 2: Communication and Relationships
Week 3: Love, vulnerability and connection
Week 4: Journaling for well-being
Week 5: The benefits of laughter and how to laugh more
Week 6: Nature for well-being
